INDIANAPOLIS (May 5, 2026) – The Annex Group®, a leading impact housing developer that creates affordable, workforce and purpose-built student housing communities, announces today that Joe Kahre has been hired as Vice President of Technology and Innovation for the company. Kahre, a twenty-year technology leader with a strong history of technology infrastructure experience, was brought on board to oversee the company’s technology platforms and responsible utilization of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI).

The Annex Group has experienced substantial growth in recent years, with six affordable housing projects being awarded in 2025 with more anticipated for later this year.
