INDIANAPOLIS (May 26, 2026) – The Annex Group®, a leading impact housing developer that creates affordable, workforce and purpose-built student housing communities, announces today it has been named to the 2026 Best Places to Work in Indiana list. This is the 21st edition of the program from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. The Annex Group ranked number 42 in the category of companies with 75 to 249 employees.

In 2025, The Annex Group received an Honorable Mention in the medium company category. The company, which offers employee amenities like a social hub, wellness room, fitness center and outdoor area grilling within its office, has a team of more than 168 with multiple job openings.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana list. Each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics were ranked along with overall employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and final rankings.
This recognition is The Annex Group’s first award win of 2026. In 2025, The Annex Group was recognized across multiple industry rankings and award programs, including NMHC’s Top 25 Developers; MHN’s Top Multifamily Developers (No. 26); the AHF 50 (No. 11); and the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Commercial Developers list (No. 12).
